SPL® Locking Screws
Surgeons who wanted better results told us their story. In response, we created a new approach to fracture care. The result: the first hybrid metallic / polymer screw system that changes with the body during fracture healing. Our goals are to reduce the complications of other plating systems, improve patient outcomes and lower healthcare costs.

During the early stages of bone healing, SPL screws function similarly to conventional locking screws.

As the polymer degrades with time, construct stiffness is reduced, enhancing interfragmentary motion.
03 — Motion with Time
Delayed dynamization has shown enhanced healing when compared to constantly flexible fixation or early dynamization in animal models.
04 — Small Fragment Fixation
To meet every need, the system accommodates a complete line of stainless steel locking, cortical and cancellous screws.
